Freddie Mercury: the soul of Queen

I’m writing this post in english because I need to practise it. I must do that if I pretend to spend my summer in London .

Queen is, for me, the best rock group I have ever seen. Of course I ain’t talking about the actual band. I refer to Queen with Freddie. The band that still thrills me everytime I listen to it. His music will remain with all of us forever.

I remember, when I was a child, that the band was introduced to me by my major brother. Every sunday morning he put the disc I want it all on the record player, and we stayed for a while listening to it. We all started loving that music. Breakthru is one of my favourites songs. I still remember that we performed it in a quite similar way, and I actually didn’t know about the videoclip: we used to lay down on the floor and slowly get up.

The beginning of the band was around 1970’s. Freddie met John Deacon, who added to Roger Taylor and Brian May (already known for him). Freddie designed Queen’s logo and they began a successfull road to glory. Unstoppable, an incredible mix of a great guitarist like Brian May and the awesome voice of Freddie that together were able to fill stadiums like Wembley.

Freddie died almost 16 years ago, but he will actually never die for all of us who love music and Queen. Queen will never die.

This is my little homage, my little dedication, to Queen and Freddie. Just to the best.
